Confirming what we already knew about the Arkansas recruiting station murders

The Muslim man who killed one US Army soldier and wounding another outside a Little Rock, Arkansas military recruiting center last spring has asked a judge to change his plea to guilty, claiming ties to Al Qaeda.

Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad is merely confirming what many already realized. The Little Rock Army Recruiting Center attack has basically been forgotten and the media has either ignored or failed to realize the obvious pattern that it set.

We are witnessing another MASSIVE intelligence failure with regard to Yemen and a subsequent failure to properly respond to the series of attacks in the US which have been tied to Al Qaeda in Yemen.

It is now apparent that Al Qaeda switched a major portion of its Jihadi training to Yemen at least as long ago as 2008 and we failed to detect it.

The Little Rock shooter (Muhammad), a convert to Islam at Tennessee Tech, dropped out of school and traveled to Yemen to “study” under a Sharia scholar (we now know who this scholar was: Anwar al-Awlaki…same guy who preached to Major Nidal Malik Hasan in northern Virginia and the Nigerian Fruit of the Boom bomber.)

The Feds even went so far as to put the Little Rock shooter on a terrorist “watch list” when he got back from Yemen. Then we “watched” as he gunned down two of our soldiers on our city streets.

How many more “trained in Yemen” Jihadis are out there? We clearly don’t know.

Nor do we know who recruited the Little Rock shooter to Islam at Tennessee Tech in the first place. Who paid his way to fly to Yemen? (That is not a cheap plane ticket, especially for a young, African-American college drop-out.) What training regimen did he undergo in Yemen? Who else may he have met while undergoing training? This information was a casualty of the Obama administration’s misguided approach to handling terrorism as a “law enforcement” problem.

We know next to nothing, despite the fact that Al Qaeda has been training there for at least 2 years…

Our intelligence agencies failed to connect the dots when Al Qaeda started training Jihadis from around the world in Yemen and we have failed to gather intelligence from enemy terrorists who have carried out attacks against us.

This combination of intelligence and policy failures has put America and its people at risk and our governmental leaders are either in denial about the threat we face, or they are lying to us about it.

What if Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab Had Succeeded?

What if Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab had succeeded in detonating his bomb and had brought down Northwest Airlines Flight 253 on Christmas day?

There are a few things we know:

1. Some 300 innocent people on board the airliner–passengers and crew–would have perished.

2. The fact that Abdulmutallab had waited until the aircraft was on approach very possibly meant that it was flying over a populated area at the time. This was almost certainly planned. Had he detonated the device over the Atlantic Ocean, it would have killed everyone on board, but there would have been no TV video footage of the carnage and the possibility of additional innocent victims on the ground would have been eliminated. Had Abdulmutallab succeeded in blowing open the fuselage of the Airbus airliner, it could very easily have come down in whole or in parts over homes and more people would have been killed.

The only thing that prevented Christmas 2009 from becoming the most infamous in US history was either Abdulmutallab’s incompetence or faulty explosive equipment.

But there is one other thing that we can be almost certain of had Abdulmutallab succeeded in blowing up that airplane: today, 28 December 2009, 3 days later, members of the news media would be reading press releases from the White House, the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI declaring that there is “no indication of terrorist involvement.”

Janet Napolitano, the same woman who would have us believe that our security “system worked like clockwork” in this attack, would be on our television screens with the comforting words that “there is no evidence that this tragedy was a terrorist attack.”

Ill-fated Flight 253 would have been reported as a “crash.”

Would the NTSB and FBI have eventually determined beyond a shadow of a doubt that a bomb brought down 253? Probably. But that would have been months after the fact and critics would have debated the evidence any way.

Meanwhile, the breakdowns which allowed Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab to get on board Flight 253 with a US visa may never have been identified and fixed…

Former Gitmo detainee, “Yo Mo” al Shihri, killed in a shootout

If one were to believe what many on the Left in America say, the inmates at the prison facility at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba are nothing but innocent pilgrims and goat herders who all ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time.

But an inconvenient truth of the prison population that has gone through that highly effective prison facility is the fact that no fewer than 61 former residents have been captured or killed on the field of battle waging Jihad after their release. And we should emphasize that those 61 are the ones we know about.

The latest is a distinguished gentleman named Yousef Mohammed al Shihri. This innocent shepherd (we’ll call him “Yo Mo” for short) was no doubt improperly incarcerated by the evil American empire after being snatched from his benevolent wanderings in beautiful, picturesque Afghanistan several years ago.

“Yo Mo” won his freedom from Gitmo with the capable help of Saudi authorities and went on, evidently, to pursue his true calling as a transgender wanderer in the deserts of Yemen, after having gone through the Sauds’ highly successful Jihadi rehab program. (By highly successful, we mean successful at sending terrorists back to their chosen profession.)

In Yemen, Yo Mo, dressed as a woman, was gunned down by authorities, no doubt without any justification whatsoever.

If a Jihadi gets wacked while wearing women’s clothes, when he gets to paradise, are his 72 virgins male or female?

These are the vital questions which we need answers to!

Purple Hearts for the Two Soldiers Shot by the Little Rock Jihadist?

Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad, who reportedly studied jihad with an Islamic scholar in Yemen, shot Private William Long and Private Quinton I. Ezeagwula. Long died from his wounds.

Will these two soldiers killed/wounded by the Jihadist in Little Rock get Purple Heart awards?

That might be a question with national policy implications in terms of Obama’s nomenclature for the war formerly known as “on terrorism” and now known as “overseas contingency operations.”

Little Rock isn’t overseas and the perpetrator might be regarded as a “criminal” and not the enemy that he is.

Given the new parameters of the Obama administration, would the slain soldier and wounded soldier be eligible for Purple Hearts? Had the two soldiers been standing in front of the recruiting office and been slain/wounded in an armed robbery, they certainly would not be eligible for Purple Hearts.

If the Obama administration views Jihadist terrorism as a law enforcement issue, as they claim, would these two soldiers be eligible for Purple Hearts? And, if they do receive Purple Hearts, isn’t that a tacit acknowledgement that they were in fact not involved in a crime but in an action in which they were killed/wounded by enemy fire?
