Two North Carolina Muslim Converts Arrested on Terrorism Charges

Two North Carolina Muslim converts were arrested on terrorism charges this week:

Authorities said in court documents that Akbar Jihad Jordan and Avin Marsalis Brown planned to travel to Syria and Yemen to fight for Islam.

Brown was arrested Wednesday at Raleigh-Durham International Airport, and he told investigators that he planned to fly to Turkey and then travel to Syria, according to court records.

Brown and Jordan, a 2011 Millbrook High School graduate, began talking last May about going overseas to engage in jihad.

The pair planned to use a charity as a cover for their travels, saying the government would have a hard time making a terrorism case against them if they argued they were on a charitable mission overseas, according to court records.

These two were proselytized, then recruited to Jihad. They didn’t brew up this scheme on their own. This is so similar to what happened to Carlos Bledsoe in Tennessee before he traveled to Yemen and came back to wage Jihad in Nashville and Little Rock.

There are active Jihadi recruiting operations going on in the US…

What is it with L.A. (Lower Alabama) and Jihad?

Linked below, please find two seemingly unrelated stories about two separate Jihadis from the Mobile, Alabama area (one of our favorite cities actually and the permanent homeport for the battleship USS Alabama, one of the great historical treasures that every American should visit at least once).

Nevertheless, something is going on in that area. There are two known Jihadis that made news recently, one we have known about for some time and the other only more recently came on the scene.

The first one is Omar Hammami, a Muslim who grew up in Daphne, Alabama, a really nice town outside of Mobile. Hammami’s Dad is a Syrian immigrant and was at one time at least the Imam of the Islamic center there. While a student at the University of South Alabama, Hammami was the President of the Muslim Students Association, which of course is the oldest Muslim Brotherhood front group in the United States. (Hammami is certainly not the first member of the MSA to turn to violent Jihad. That list is long.) As President of the MSA at South Alabama, he was interviewed by local TV news stations about perceived discrimination against Muslims in the wake of the 9/11 attacks of 2001.

Not long after all of that, Hammami turned to violent Jihad and via Canada and Egypt found his way to Somalia, where he came a member of Al Shabaab, the Al Qaeda affiliate there. It was at that time that he hit the big-time in Jihadi circles and changed his name to Abu Mansoor Al-Amriki. He became a spokesman for the organization and found himself on the FBI’s list of most wanted terrorists.

More recently, Hammami/Al-Amriki hasn’t been getting along so well with his Jihadi pals in Somalia. He released a video back in March in which he claimed to be in fear for his like from none other than Al Shabaab over differences in sharia and strategy. There was even speculation that he was killed.

But now he has resurfaced again. It turns out Al Shabaab didn’t kill him, they just think he is an assclown (our word, not theirs) and have essentially disowned him. We imagine he must be pretty lonely over in Somalia these days. Good riddance. We hope for his untimely demise, sooner than later preferably.

Which brings us to the question of how he ended up in the Jihad in the first place. Being a member of the MSA may have had a hand in it. After all, Carlos Bledsoe (aka Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad) found his way to Jihad after getting involved with the MSA in Nashville, which is less than a day’s drive from Mobile. Of course, Bledsoe/Muhammad also got involved with a local Islamic center in Nashville as well and that is also a know recruiting outlet for Jihad in America and the West in general. Now we come full circle, Hammami’s Dad, who was the Imam of the Islamic Center of Daphne claims to have no idea how his son got involved in Jihad. We were always skeptical of that claim because other sons of Imams have gone the same route. But now that another Jihadi has emerged from the area, we think there may be something worth looking into in the Lower Alabama region…

…And his name is Randy Lamar “Rasheed” Wilson. Wilson was arrested boarding an airline flight from Atlanta to Morocco earlier this month. Authorities say he planned to enter “another African country” and wage a violent jihad in support of his Islamic beliefs.

They don’t say which African nation Wilson had in mind. It certainly could be Somalia, but the Jihadists are also active in Mali, Morocco, Libya and a few other places in Africa. In fact, Mali appears to be mentioned in some of the initial court records. But so is Hammami. It seems that Hammami and Wilson were roommates at one time…hmmm…At this point we don’t know much about Wilson, how he became Muslim (we doubt he was born Muslim) and how he found his way to Jihad and on his way to Africa.

Like we said, something is going on in with Jihad in Lower Alabama…which seems to be one of the least likely places in America for such activity. This shows that no where is immune.

Abdullatif Aldosary is a terrorist. He may be a “lone wolf” terrorist, unassociated with any known Jihadist group, but he is a Jihadist terrorist nonetheless.

But our government won’t call him a terrorist.

Abdullatif Aldosary BOMBED a Social Security office in Case Grande, Arizona less than a week ago. He is a Muslim Iraqi “refugee.”

But our government will not charge him with terrorism.

This is an outrage and a symptom of the utter denial to which we have fallen victim in America due to politics and political correctness.

Note that the media then suppressed Aldosary’s identity, just as they have in previous cases in which Muslims have committed acts of violence, including and especially the Fort Hood terrorist attack.

Note also that the infamously irresponsible DailyKos almost immediately started speculating that the bombing was the work of a “right wing” terrorist of some sort. Again, this is reminiscent of the shameful Mayor Michael Bloomberg airing the same kind of wide-of-the-mark speculation when a Muslim Jihadi tried to set off a VBIED in Times Square a few years back.

Worst of all though–BY FAR THE WORST OF ALL–is the report from Patrick Poole on PJMedia that the FBI office in Phoenix was treating the incident internally as a terrorism investigation, but they weren’t going to charge Aldosary with terrorism. Instead, he will be charged with simple arson and explosives charges. Why? Because of the political sensitivities involved.

In other words, an Iraqi Muslim, with a history of run-ins with DHS (see the different mugshot below indicating multiple arrests), bombs a US government office and he gets charges the same as some moron who tries to blow up his own property to collect insurance?

Ah yes, this is just a street crime. That’s what they said when Abdulhakim Mohammed killed Private Andy Long outside an Arkansas Army recruiting office. Despite the fact that the Arkansas attack came after Mohammed attended a terrorist training camp in Yemen, he was not charged by the Feds with terrorism:

And let us not forget that the Fort Hood massacre has been classified as “workplace violence” and not terrorism, despite the fact that Major Nidal Hasan was in touch with Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula leader Anwar Al Awlaki and yelled out “Allah u Akhbar” as he was murdering and wounding his fellow soldiers.

This type of denial erodes our national will and we have to suspect that there are some either in government service or advising those in government service who want just that; they want to erode our national will so that we remain deaf, dumb and blind to the threat of Jihad. Because when the Department of Justice tells us outrageous lies about attacks carried out on US soil like those perpetrated by Nidal Hasan, Abdulhakim Mohammed and Abdullatif Aldosary, they are shaping the national psyche and public opinion. AND THIS NATIONAL SECURITY FRAUD MUST STOP. The Department of Justice is committing professional malpractice in the way in which it handles these Jihadist terrorist attacks.

Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad (Carlos Bledsoe) Confesses to More Murderous Jihad

Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad, (formerly known as Carlos Bledsoe) who reportedly studied jihad with an Islamic scholar in Yemen, is being tried for the shooting of two US Army soldiers outside a Little Rock, Arkansas armed forces recruiting office in the spring of 2009.

Muhammad shot Private William Long and Private Quinton I. Ezeagwula. Long died from his wounds.

Since that incident we have learned more about Muhammad’s violent actions after he returned from Yemen. For example, we have learned that he attempted to fire bomb the house of a Nashville rabbi with a Molotov cocktail.

Now we learn that Muhammad has cryptically confessed to another killing. In a letter to the Arkansas judge presiding over his trial for the recruiting center shootings, Muhammad claims that he killed another person back in 2006 because that person was robbing and harassing Muslims.

Muhammad has not offered any clues as to who the victim was or exactly where this crime may have occurred, only that it was in his home state of Tennessee. The only good news here is that Muhammad is already being tried for capital murder for his 2009 crime. Hopefully he will be convicted in quick order and will sooner, rather than later, have a date with a needle.

But we suspect that perhaps Muhammad is not so ready to go to paradise to meet his 72 virgins and is dangling this tidbit in hopes of getting some sort of leverage for leniency:

“If you agree not to seek the death penalty, I will tell you all about this other guy I killed.”

We hope his ruse does not work, though we realize that it may be several years before he meets the executioner.

What really bothers us though is the media seem to be bending over backwards to avoid investigating this guy’s activity. He converted to Islam and flew to Yemen for training and then came back and started killing Americans (and tried to set fire to a Nashville rabbi’s home with a Molotov cocktail).

Yet we see no press curiosity as to who approached him to convert to Islam in the first place, how he was recruited to Jihad or how he got to Yemen and back…

What happened to investigative journalism? Why isn’t someone going to the mosque at Tennessee Tech where he converted to ask a few questions? What turned Carlos Bledsoe into a monster named Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad? Was he a member of the Muslim Students Association? Who else from that mosque went to Yemen? If Bledsoe was involved with the MSA, what, if any, role did that group, or some of its members, play in his transformation to Islamic Jihadist?

Why isn’t anyone asking these questions?
