New York City Axe Attacker “Obsessed” with Jihad

Islamist-Axeman-MAIN

Actually, the story linked below at Fox News says the New York City axe attacker was obsessed with “radical Islam.”

And that is mainly the subject of this post.

It comes as no surprise that Zale Thompson was motivated by Jihad. A few observers tried to say that he was motivated by race but the mode of attack made it abundantly clear that he was a Jihadi.

One thing that Zale Thompson almost surely was NOT obsessed with or motivated by, was “radical” Islam. The NYPD intelligence unit analyzed his internet search habits and found 277 relevant terms:

Note that the word “radical” does not appear in the list of search terms. Anywhere. Nor does the word “extremist.”

“Radical” and “Extremist” are terms that WE have made up to describe the enemy.

They have no meaning in the enemy doctrine and the enemy does not recognize or use them.

The terms they use are clear in Zale Thompson’s search terms:

• Jihad

• Islam

Isn’t it about time we quit making up names for the enemy we face?

Did anyone refer to “radical Nazis” or “Nazi extremists” in World War II? Or did we just call them Nazis?

Just my 2¢…
